What it does

  • Controlled from WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord… with memory and scheduled tasks
  • Extensible skills (ClawHub marketplace) and swappable models: Claude, GPT, Ollama
  • Formerly Clawdbot, then Moltbot; MIT, run by the OpenClaw Foundation

! Security: tools run on your machine unless you enable sandboxing, and not every ClawHub skill is vetted. Use the official address (openclaw.ai): fake sites exist.

Install it

Requirements: Node.js 24.16+ (Node 26 recommended); the install script handles it if needed.

Download the official install script
curl -fsSL https://openclaw.ai/install.sh -o openclaw-install.sh
Read it before running it
less openclaw-install.sh
Run it
bash openclaw-install.sh
Set up (model, channel, service)
openclaw onboard --install-daemon
