What it does

Same menus, shortcuts and panels as Photoshop, so you feel at home right away
Opens and re-saves PSD files with their layers, layer styles, type and vectors
Scriptable through a command line and an MCP server, so Claude Code can drive it

! Still alpha, not a full Photoshop replacement: no generative AI, about fifteen tools missing, no plug-ins. Keep your original files and work on copies. Stars and version come from the repo, not tested by PixDig.

Install it

Requirements: No account. Linux: AppImage, .deb, .rpm or Flatpak; Mac: disk image; Windows: .msi or portable zip.
