What it does

  • Tracks Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Hermes… live and handles permissions (Allow / Deny)
  • iPhone app (TestFlight beta: Live Activity, Face ID); Windows, Linux and Android (build from source) too
  • No telemetry, no account; code is MIT, but the name and Mochi are reserved

! Windows installers are unsigned (SmartScreen warns). Coucou installs hooks into your agents' config (with backup and diff): check before accepting. Very recent project (late September 2026), very active.

Install it

Requirements: macOS 15+, Windows 10/11 or Linux x86_64.

macOS: download Coucou.zip from Releases, drag it to Applications
https://github.com/Louis-CFM/coucou/releases
Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), after downloading the .deb

The prompt for your agent

Paste it into your coding agent: it checks the requirements and installs it for you.
