GenOffice
by Genspark
A free, open-source AI office suite: docs, sheets, slides, PDF, Markdown and HTML, on Mac, Windows and Linux.
View on GitHub →What it does
- 100% local editing: your files never leave your computer to be opened, edited, saved or converted
- Built-in AI agent: your own keys (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek, Qwen and more), a local OpenAI-compatible server, or Genspark credits
- A genoffice command and a skill so Claude Code, Codex or Cursor create real .docx, .xlsx and .pptx files locally
! Alpha release: the project says so itself. Without a key or local server, the AI agent uses Genspark credits. Official builds send limited usage statistics by default (never document contents, file names or email addresses), which you can turn off in Settings → General. Information from the official repository (version 0.11.919 of 19 October 2026, Apache-2.0 license, over 10,000 stars), Genspark's blog post (3 August 2026) and tech press. The local-model mode has not been tested.

Always review what your agent is about to run, especially install commands.
