What it does

Search, video details, channels, playlists and transcripts from your agent
Plug it into Claude Code, Codex or Cursor like any MCP server
Needs your own Google API key: the free quota is limited

! Never paste your key in chat: put it in the server's environment variables. Check the repo page for the exact variable name.

Install it

Requirements: Node.js and a YouTube Data API v3 key created in Google Cloud.

Install

npm install -g zubeid-youtube-mcp-server
