What it does

  • Free and local with Ollama; with an online model, you pay for usage

! Free, open-source app (MIT), in beta. Your projects, chats and results stay in folders on your computer. Online models (OpenRouter, ChatGPT, Claude…) are pay-per-use or by subscription; local models through Ollama or a compatible server are billed $0. Kady runs code with your account's permissions: for untrusted data or code, use a separate account or a virtual machine. Result announced by the vendor: 2nd on the public CompBioBench leaderboard (Genentech) as of September 11, 2026, with a paid model (GPT-6 Astra, 98%); with DeepSeek V4 Pro: 81%. Install it

Requirements: macOS, Linux or Windows 10/11; on Windows, Node.js 22+ and Git for Windows. And a model source: Ollama (free, local), an OpenRouter key or a compatible subscription.

Download the project
