Kev
by Jared Palmer
The closest free stand-in for Jev: a local server compatible with TypeSafe's API, on Qwen models from 0.8 to 9 billion parameters.
View on GitHub →What it does
- Same API as Jev (/v1/systemone): just change the address in your code
- Apache 2.0, public weights and training recipe
- A notch below Jev on accuracy, but free, local and with no call limits
! Free alternative to Jev (Apache 2.0). Its local server uses the same API contract as TypeSafe: the official SDK works by changing only the address. Author-published evaluation: 0.82 accuracy against 0.86 for Jev on new sources, with a close confident-error rate (4.0% vs 3.7%). Information from the official repository and tech press.
